RICHARD MAY

Pixelsurgeon and Black Convoy co-founder Richard May is one of the most popular contemporary illustrators in the world. He has produced hundreds of illustrations for a diverse range of clients, including Time, Time Out, Ray Gun, Wired, The Independent, The Guardian, and Time Warner Books. His clean lines, use of textures and iconic image- making has also led him to work with a number of bands and record labels including Echobelly, Punish the Atom, and Luaka Bop. Richard has taken part in various international group exhibitions, including FreshstART, The Design a Qee Expo 2004, and the Apartment Under Construction at New York's oldest YMCA.
